PHINMA invests additional P300M in inaugural Bacolod township Saludad

PHINMA Corporation (“PHN” or “Company”) has infused more capital into the Group’s first-ever township in Bacolod City, reflecting greater confidence in the project’s strong performance and promising prospects.
The Company transferred an additional P300 million to its subsidiary PHINMA Property Holdings Corporation (PHINMA Properties) to be fully allocated to the P12-billion, 21-hectare, mixed-use master-planned development in the City of Smiles in partnership with JEPP Real Estate Co.
“This new P300-million investment will allow PHINMA Properties to sustain the favorable market momentum for our Saludad project in Bacolod. This signifies the PHINMA Group’s stronger commitment to the Bacolod community and nearby areas by promoting economic development and creating new livelihood opportunities,” said PHINMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ramon R. del Rosario, Jr.
Saludad harnesses the Group’s essential services: PHINMA Hospitality’s lifestyle brand TRYP by Wyndham Bacolod, the township’s anchor tenant whose construction is expected to begin soon; Southwestern University PHINMA’s first campus outside Cebu City; and building materials from the PHINMA Construction Materials Group.
“We’re creating a lively, sustainable community for our beloved Bacolodnons where they can easily access essentials to dignified lives. Saludad combines the best offerings of the PHINMA Group with the city’s rich heritage and beautiful sceneries, amidst its fast growing economy — this marriage of tradition and modernity makes it distinctly Bacolod. As we say, Aton Ini,” said PHINMA Properties President and CEO Raphael B. Felix.
The development will also be a business hub featuring commercial and retail spaces and residential areas, catering to entrepreneurs and professionals alike.
“With the township’s construction in full swing, the southern Phase 1 will be completed by the first quarter of 2026 and the northern Phase 2 will be finished in 2028. PHINMA Properties looks forward to sharing more of Saludad to people within and beyond Bacolod,” PHINMA Properties Vice President, Chief Township Officer Paolo V. Reyes said.
PHINMA Properties launched Saludad last October. The township was master-planned by award-winning firm Royal Pineda+ Architecture.Design.
