PHINMA Education showcases excellence in Criminology and Medical Technology board exams

PHINMA Education proudly celebrates 1,441 newly licensed professionals in Criminology and Medical Technology with strong results in the 2026 board licensure examinations.

In the February 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination released in March, PHINMA University of Iloilo was the Top Performing School in the country for schools with 200 or more takers, while PHINMA Cagayan de Oro College (COC) and PHINMA Araullo University (AU) were 4th and 5th nationwide, respectively.

The network also produced topnotchers, including Katrina Jean Jimenez of PHINMA University of Pangasinan College Urdaneta, who ranked Top 4, and Joenibert Enterina of PHINMA COC, who placed Top 7.

In Medical Technology, PHINMA Education students also achieved a remarkable 98% first-time passing rate. Four schools—PHINMA AU, PHINMA COC, PHINMA University of Pangasinan (UPang), and PHINMA St. Jude College Manila—recorded 100% passing rates among first-time takers. Angeline Soriano of PHINMA UPang also placed Top 7 in the examination.

These results reflect the persistence of students who pursued their studies despite various challenges and competing priorities in life. With the support of PHINMA Education, their families and communities, the passers are now one important step closer to becoming policemen and health professionals—professions where they can serve and uplift their families.

PHINMA Education will bring this academic success to the students of Pasay through its recently acquired Southeastern College, providing high-quality, accessible education to low-income families, to learners who need a good education the most.

Southeastern College already offers Business Administration, Office Administration, Education and Computer Science. PHINMA Education will improve and elevate these programs and expand the course offerings of its newest college to Criminology, Allied Health Sciences, Accountancy, Psychology, Tourism, and Engineering.

“We are so proud of our kids, especially given their backgrounds and challenges, who continue to show us that nothing is impossible and confirm our belief in how education can genuinely change lives,” said Dr. Chito B. Salazar, PHINMA Education President and CEO. “They are our North Star.”

“We are now equally excited to make this same success possible to the Senior High School graduates in and around Pasay through PHINMA Southeastern College,” he continues.

Since 2004, PHINMA Education has been at the forefront of rethinking higher education in the Philippines, developing learning systems that are designed to make college more accessible for underserved and low-income students. It has produced over 88,000 graduates who are thriving in industries locally and internationally. Among them are 43,000 licensed professionals and 242 board topnotchers—reflecting the remarkable successes achieved by its students across various fields.

“Even with all these successes, we continue to think of those who continue to be underserved or challenged to complete their degree,” Salazar said. “Our doors remain open to everyone. And, for as long as they persist, PHINMA Education will walk with them through their journey. This is the kind of higher education we seek to build in every school that becomes part of PHINMA Education.”
