Trans Asia Oil & Energy Development Corporation
The company aims to build the nation’s economy through self-reliance in energy. It is an active organization continually searching for energy sources, both standard and renewable. Its oil explorations have found success; the consortium in Cadlao, for example, produced over 11 million barrels of oil in the 1980’s. Today, the organization continues to be involved in the high-risk endeavor of petroleum exploration and power generation.

Today, the company owns a 3.2 MW power plant which supplies power in the island of Guimaras in the Visyas. Recently, Trans Asia Oil and Energy Corporation acquired a new company: CIP II power Corporation, which owns a power plant and distribution facilities located at Carmelray Industrial Park II, Calamba City, Laguna. The 21 MW power plant supplies to the more than 50 companies and factories which are located inside the industrial park.

The company runs a 52 MW power plant which supplies all the requirements of Union Cement Corporation in Norzagaray, Bulacan; and Bacnotan, La Union – making these plants self-sufficient and fully independent of local suppliers. This makes all the electricity supplied by local power generating companies fully available to the residents of the area.
