The Phinma Group of Companies launched the Phinma Hero Network, the company’s advocacy campaign aimed towards transforming the Phinma Group workforce into Helpful Employees Responsible for Others. The goal of this campaign is to encourage employees to live and practice volunteerism in whatever cause or community they hold dear to their hearts, thus being heroes in their own way. This is living Phinma’s philosophy of “Life can be better.” Miguel del Rosario introduced the new website and other mechanics of the network while Marie Gonzalez introduced the Volunteer Fair which aimed to “unleash the hero” in the employees. Invited to the fair were companies from the Phinma Group (Phinma Properties, UGC, Trans Asia), the Phinma volunteers (now known as the Phinma Heroes), and five non-government organizations (Restorative Justice Ministry of Caritas Manila, Advocates for Children and Elders International Phil., the Philippine National Red Cross, Kythe, Inc., and the Philippine Animal Welfare Society). Free t-shirts were given to the first 150 people who signed up.
